The art school vs. regular school decision was tough. I did get into 3 competitive photography programs @ RIT, Corcoran College of Art & Design, and Art Institute of Boston. AiB was a close call, but I wanted the resources of NYU - they have Tisch School of the Arts which is one of the top schools in the country for art, and they have Gallatin School (which I'm currently in) for those who are combining several disciplines. So I chose NYU over those schools and Northeastern. Boston University rejected me for their photojournalism program (*ahem* which did not even REQUIRE OR ACCEPT A PORTFOLIO for entrance) and I'm kinda glad they did. I would've wound up going there and it wouldn't have been what I wanted. I got waitlisted at GW but what was I even gonna major in there?
Anyway! Stay tuned, bitches.
